A multifunctional shopping center with a swimming pool, a cinema and an ice skating rink will be built on Kashirskoye Highway. The shopping center project has received approval from the Moscow Committee for Architecture, reports the department’s press service.

According to the chief architect of Moscow Sergei Kuznetsov, the total area of ​​the Kashirskaya Plaza complex will exceed 190 thousand square meters.
The shopping center will appear on Kashirskoye Highway - at its intersection with Shipilovsky Street and next to the Domodedovskaya metro station.

Kuznetsov noted the active development of the commercial real estate market in the capital, emphasizing that, according to Sergei Sobyanin, approximately six million square meters of retail space are put into operation in Moscow every year. “The new shopping center will be able to combine the trends of modern architecture with functional content,” said the chief architect of the capital.

According to the project, the facades of the shopping center will be made in a variety of finishing materials, including natural stone, aluminum and metal. In addition, they plan to widely use stained glass glazing in their design.

According to Moskomarkhitektura, the first three floors of the shopping center will house shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. The fourth floor will be equipped as a sports area with a fitness area and an ice skating rink. There will also be a food court and a cinema. On the fifth floor there will be sports facilities, including a tennis court, swimming pool and basketball hall, as well as a second level of a cinema.

In addition to five above-ground floors, the new shopping center will have four underground levels. The lower three of them will be occupied by a parking lot designed for 1.3 thousand cars. And on the minus first floor there will be the main entrance to the Auchan hypermarket.

Moskomarkhitektura approved the project of a multifunctional shopping center on Kashirskoye Shosse. The total area of ​​the Kashirskaya Plaza complex will be more than 190 thousand square meters. m, said the chief architect of Moscow Sergey Kuznetsov.

The shopping center will be located at: Kashirskoye Shosse, 61, bldg. 2, near the intersection of the highway with Shipilovsky Street and the Domodedovskaya metro station.

“The commercial real estate market in Moscow is actively developing - according to the mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin, annually the city introduces about 6 million sq. m of area. The new shopping mall will be able to combine the trends of modern architecture with functional content,” noted Sergey Kuznetsov.

The facades of the building, divided into several volumes, will be made of various finishing materials: natural stone, aluminum and metal. Stained glass will also be widely used.

The first floors will be filled with shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. On the fourth there is space for fitness, a food court, an entertainment area, an ice skating rink and a cinema. The fifth floor will be occupied by sports facilities: a tennis court, a swimming pool and a basketball hall, as well as the second level of a cinema.

In addition, the new shopping center will have four underground floors. The three lower ones will accommodate parking for 1,300 cars. The main entrance to the Auchan hypermarket will be located on the minus first floor.

The Capitol shopping center at the intersection of Shipilovskaya Street and Kashirskoye Shosse will be the first shopping center with a serviceable roof in the entire Moscow region, Knight Frank claims. Construction of the facility has already begun, and work is scheduled to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2017. The total area of ​​the Capitol will reach 195.5 thousand square meters. m, the rentable area will be 71 thousand sq. m. m. Initially, the project developer was the Turkish developer Enka TC, a shopping center with an area of ​​200 thousand sq. m. m, but then reduced the dimensions of the building by three times.

The Capitol will have five above-ground floors and three underground levels for parking for 1,500 cars. The anchor tenant of the shopping center under construction will be the food retailer Auchan: the hypermarket of the French chain will occupy 10.5 thousand square meters. m, reports Knight Frank. A total of 200 stores will open in Capitol. In addition to shopping galleries, the shopping center will have an entertainment center, a World Class fitness center and a multiplex cinema, one of the halls of which will be the largest screen in Russia, the press release says.

Enka TC is convinced that 2 million people live in the catchment area of ​​the new shopping center. Transport accessibility of the Capitol will be ensured by five metro stations located within walking distance from the facility. Knight Frank and Cushman & Wakefield will be looking for tenants for the shopping center under construction.

The new shopping center is being built on the site of the shopping center of the same name, which also belonged to Enka Shopping Center. This is the second time the developer has decided to reconstruct the existing facility to increase space and expand the pool of tenants. The first such experience for a Turkish company in Moscow was the Kuntsevo Plaza multifunctional center.
